flydubai announces flights to Pakistan and India

Flights for Pakistani and Indian nationals are set to take place from April 15

Dubai’s budget airline flydubai has announced repatriation flights for Pakistani and Indian nationals from the UAE, in light of the COVID-19 situation.

Flights will be scheduled and on sale from Wednesday April 15.

Currently, the repatriation flights back to airports in Pakistan include in Faisalabad, Karachi, Sialkot and Multan.

As for India, the return flights to destinations include Ahmedabad, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kozhikode, Lucknow and Mumbai.

“A Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) sets out the flight restrictions that are in place between the UAE and Pakistan in response to COVID-19. flydubai has opened flights for sale to Pakistan to allow repatriations for their nationals from 15 April and will operate subject to Government approval,” flydubai told Arabian Business.

Emirates Airline is also to run a limited number of outbound-only passenger flights from Dubai’s DXB airport, which started from Monday April 6.
