You can now book a year-long stay at Anantara Veli Maldives Resort

If you’re working from home, why not work from the Maldives instead

If this past year has taught us anything, it’s that working from home is here to stay.

Whether you’re back in the office part-time, or are yet to return, we love the freedom to work from wherever we want.

And if you really want to go all out with your work from home life, you can now book a year-long stay at the Anantara Veli Maldives Resort.

The five-star resort, which has a spa, gym, and 20 m pool, plus those gorgeous ocean views, is offering up a special unlimited stays rate in 2021 for bookings until November 30.

You can book out an overwater bungalow and enjoy a daily breakfast spread for two, plus a 25 percent discount at any of the hotel’s dining outlets as well as on spa treatments.

Sounds dreamy to you? The package, which covers a stay from January 1 until December 23, 2021, will set you back a whopping US$30,000.

Considering stays normally start at US$472 per night, you’ll be saving yourself US$142,000, which is a pretty great deal. We wish we had that kind of cash to splash.

You can find out more, and make a booking, by emailing reservations.maldives@anantara.com.

The Maldives has been open to international travel since July 15, and there are no quarantine requirements for tourists.

Visitors will have to provide a negative COVID‑19 PCR test result taken within 96 hours of departure for the Maldives.

You will also need to book a stay at a designated hotel resort, and fill in a health declaration form 24 hours before departure.
