Etihad Airways announce flights between Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv

The UAE is now connected to Israel

Etihad Airways has announced year-round flights to Israel.

Connecting Abu Dhabi Dhabi with Tel Aviv, the new flight route follows the announcement of diplomatic ties between the UAE and Israel.

Etihad Airways recently became the first airline to operate a passenger flight between the two countries in October.

“Following the signing of the new bilateral agreement, Etihad is delighted to announce a direct link between these important cities,” said Mohammad Al Bulooki, CCO of Etihad Aviation Group.

“The commencement of scheduled flights is a historic moment and as an airline, cements Etihad’s commitment to growing opportunities for trade and tourism not just between the two countries but also within the region and beyond.”

Flight connecting the two cities will begin on March 28 2021 and will provide flights for business travellers and tourists visiting each country.

Currently, Etihad Airways is flying to 58 countries around the world in Asia, the Americas and Europe.

Etihad Airways has also recently announced student discounts on tickets for those in education and travelling with students from Abu Dhabi.

In addition, all flights with Etihad Airways until the end of 2020 will have PCR tests covered and passengers will be provided with COVID-19 insurance to cover medical and quarantine costs.
