Oman has closed its borders for one week

Land, air and sea borders are closed as of December 22

As of today, Tuesday December 22, Oman has made the decision to shut its land, air and sea borders for one week.

On Monday December 21, Oman’s Supreme Committee held a meeting and the decision was made due to the latest variant of COVID-19 that is affecting other countries across the globe.

The Supreme Committee also stated that the current developments with the new strain of coronavirus will be monitored closely and further decisions will be made accordingly.

According to the Oman News Agency, the decision exempts cargo aircrafts, ships and trucks.
