Oman’s Supreme Committee has announced that a two-dose vaccination is required for all non-Omanis entering the Sultanate. Anyone aged 18 and above will need to provide proof of two doses of a COVID-19 vaccination in order to enter the country.
Oman has also decided to cancel the decision to ban entry of arrivals from certain countries listed previously. These include: South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Eswatini and Mozambique.
Full vaccination is a condition for entering public and private establishments in Oman, according to the Oman News Agency.
Visiting Oman from the UAE? Oman has been allowing travellers to enter since September 1, 2021. Arrivals are required to present a vaccine certificate containing a QR code that states they have received two doses of a vaccine that is approved in Oman. The last dose of your vaccine needs to have been received not less than 14 days before the arrival date.
