Outside, the terrace is sunny and understated, allowing the al fresco vibes to take the spotlight. Looking to be entertained? Challenge your mates to a game of darts, with indoor and outdoor boards to choose from.

Hungry? The Cooper’s menu has loads of options, including a dedicated section for vegans and sharing plates that are perfect for indecisive diners. The baked camembert is melty and delicious, served with crostini and cranberry jam. Next up is your main course and you can’t go wrong with one of Cooper’s classics, such as the fish and chips. This dish comes with a cod fillet, mushy peas, tartar sauce and malt vinegar. The fish is perfectly cooked and crispy and takes us right back to a British seaside (minus the grey skies).
For drinks, the pub is known for its hops, but you can get the full roster from grape to mixed drinks to house drinks.
Polish the whole thing off with something sweet. There are loads of options for dessert, from chocolate fudge cake to New York cheesecake with strawberries and whipped cream. The cheesecake isn’t a standout, but it’s certainly a solid dish if you’re having a craving.
