We’re obsessed with everything about Louvre Abu Dhabi.
Everything from the beautiful building to the fascinating exhibits is brilliant, and over the next few months a special cultural programme is bringing some extra events to the museum.
Between September 18 to 21, visitors will be able to witness ‘living machines’ roaming the museum, and also be able to catch shows featuring acrobatics, circus arts, contemporary dancers and more awe-inspiring giant machines.
Then from September 27 to 28, the family weekend will let guests of all ages take part in a range of workshops inspired by the art exhibitions, while film screenings will take place throughout the cultural programme.
Meanwhile, the series of events will conclude in spectacular style on November 21 with a cubist electro night.
Featuring UAE-based and international DJs (including Amon Tobin and Boogie Box DJs Hassan Alwan and Tristan Girault) playing against a backdrop of cubism-inspired visuals, the iconic dome of the museum will be illuminated to create an amazing display.
Taking place from 10pm and running through until 2am, tickets for the electro night are Dhs150.
