UAE Eid Al-Fitr 2022 private sector holiday dates revealed

Eid holidays for government workers have also been announced

Wondering when the next UAE holiday is? The UAE Eid Al-Fitr 2022 private sector holiday dates have been revealed.

The UAE Eid Al-Fitr 2022 private sector holiday will begin on Ramadan 29 until Shawwal 3, according to WAM. Those dates are anticipated to be Saturday April 30 until Wednesday May 4. The exact dates will depend once the moon is sighted by the UAE’s moon-sighting committee.

The decision about UAE Eid Al-Fitr 2022 private sector holiday dates was made by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE), and the UAE Eid Al-Fitr 2022 holiday will be a paid holiday for all private sector workers. The news was shared on Thursday April 21.

On the same day, WARM reported that the Eid Al-Fitr official holiday for the federal government begins from Saturday April 30, until Friday May 6, 2022. Government employees will return to work on Monday May 9. Are you ready for an epic Eid break?

Eid Al-Fitr relates to the end of Ramadan. The exact date depends on the sighting of the moon. The Emirates Astronomical Society has forecast that the last day of Ramadan will likely be on Sunday May 1.
