The Sportman’s Arms
Speak to any Abu Dhabian when it comes to roast dinners in the capital and it is likely that this bar in Zayed Sports City will be in the top three. From Friday to Sunday from noon to 10.30pm you can tuck into a roast with your choice of chicken, beef or lamb served with Yorkshire pudding, mixed vegetables and gravy. At this uber classy location, guests can get themselves a bumper roast dinner every Sunday while listening to some old-school rock ‘n’ roll from auld Blighty.

The Director’s Club
Head to The Director’s Club at the world’s only WB Hotel to tuck into a hearty roast dinner on Sundays. Choose between a slow-roasted beef sirloin, herb-marinated leg of lamb or roasted corn-fed chicken served with rich gravy and trimmings such as Yorkshire pudding, duck fat potatoes, cheddar-baked cauliflower and roasted vegetables. Seafood and vegetarian options are available too. You can also upgrade your meal for Dhs40 with special dishes such as the local burrata or Gulf prawn cocktail. Kids get krispy clucks, dino burgers, Scrappy’s steak, fish fingers and macaroni and cheese. Kids under six eat for free.
