Charred and crushed avocado at The Garden by Bay View

While this is not officially named as a guacamole dish, we can tell you this is good guacamole with a chunky but delicious artisan garlic baguette. Mixed with tomatoes and onions, avocado is charred for that smoky taste, making it one of the funkiest as well as one of the best guacamoles in Abu Dhabi.

Also try the… Catch of the day. This changes every day (surprise!) but it’s worth the punt. On our last visit we wolfed down red snapper rubbed with chilli and served with veg including marrow, courgette and peppers.

Family Guac at Burro Blanco

This no-nonsense restaurant is all about the quality of its food rather than its surroundings and the proof is very much in the guacamole. Made for sharing, Burro Blanco’s 18oz dish with handmade tortilla chips will ensure that everyone will get a dip of some of the best guacamole in Abu Dhabi.

Fresh guacamole and chips at No. FiftySeven Boutique Café

A hip joint in the uber-cool Al Bateen Harbour area, No. FiftySeven Boutique Café dishes out a guacamole dish that brings the oomph. Avocado, onion, tomato and lime is sprinkled with chilli flakes and accompanied by tortilla chips for some of the best guacamole in Abu Dhabi.

Also try the… Sheyat Emirati rice with lamb is the dish to satisfy the curiosity of diners in search of an authentic local bite.

Guacamole at Amerigos

Looking for some of the best guacamole in Abu Dhabi? Then head to a Mexican restaurant and one of the capital’s top Latin American eateries, in the form of the brightly decorated and bursting with lively music Amerigos on Yas Island. The grub is pretty top notch, and the guacamole is right up there.

Also try that… Arroz a la tumbada, a mega seafood platter consisting of seafood rice, king prawns, calamari, baby octopus and mussels. Now that is a catch.

Love your food to come with a demonstration? At the chilled-out Loca, staff prepare the guacamole dish tableside to diners’ preferences. And when you have your own guacamole prepared to suit your own tastes, it’s obviously going to be some of the best guacamole in Abu Dhabi.

Also try the… Nachos de la Casa, which gives diners a choice of Angus beef, shrimp or corn fed adobo chicken before being smothered with guac, pico de gallo and sprinkled with poblano pepper for a little boom in the mouth.

Guacamole at COYA Abu Dhabi

Forget about Mexico. COYA Abu Dhabi shows that Peru knows its way around a pestle and mortar. Rustling up a guacamole that ranks with some of the best in Abu Dhabi, diners get the opportunity to watch the dip be prepared tableside (that’s if they can stop looking around at the amazing Peruvian art adorning the walls). Served with corn tortilla chips and shrimp crackers, this guac will make sure you’ll be coming back.

Also try the… Cangrejo GF, which although not necessarily served with guacamole (you can always ask), catches the eyes thanks to soft shell crab, avocado and wasabi tobiko being stuffed into three tacos.

Anyone who is a regular at this stylish joint knows that they are going to bag themselves a juicy burger and monster milkshake. However, did you know they also do some of the best guacamole in Abu Dhabi? Smashed avocado, spring onions, pico de gallo and salsa verde make for a finger-licking good dip.

We all now mama’s cooking is some of the best grub we will scoff down on any given day so you know mama’s guacamole at Malaga Lounge is going to be some of the best guacamole in Abu Dhabi. We’re told it’s a traditional recipe (it certainly tastes so), and comes served with homemade, crispy nachos.

Also try the… Dirty fries. Fries smothered with white and yellow cheese, generously covered with beef bacon for Dhs19 make for a quick but mega snack.

Best guacamole in Abu Dhabi you ask? Head to this Mexican chain of restaurants where the top shelf guacamole consists of avocado, tomatoes, red onion and jalapeño, seasoned with spices and drizzled with lime juice.

Also try the…. Camarones escondidos. If you’re looking for a belly-busting dish then this grilled chicken stuffed with shrimp, sautéed spinach, mushroom and drenched in creamy, smoky chipotle pepper sauce, should do the trick.
