We’re lucky to have a wealth of luxury hotels in Abu Dhabi with amazing places to chill by the pool, grab a bite at a top-class restaurant or enjoy a drink at a classy bar or lounge.
While there are many places to head for a beverage out and about in the city, there are also loads of top hotel bars where you can head for a nightcap or a few cool drinks.
Here are three cool hotel bars and lounges to check out in Abu Dhabi.
Eclipse Terrace Lounge
We’re lucky to have a plethora of outdoor terraces in this city. Some with panoramic vistas of the sea, others with prime locations on the beach, but there’s always something appealing about watching the sun set behind the Abu Dhabi skyline from a comfortable seat with a cool drink in hand. Eclipse Terrace Lounge, at the Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi, is the latter, enjoying wonderful views of the city, making it a prime spot for a sundowner. Apart from the spectacular views, the venue is chic, cool and everything you would expect from such a Four Seasons venue. It’s elegant, stylish and, with a poolside location and plenty of comfortable seats dotted around the place, somewhere you could easily while away a few hours without much trouble.

Hidden Bar
Since it first opened Hidden Bar has grown in popularity. What was at first a fairly standard bar at the back of the Rosewood’s lobby (and yes, it was kind of hidden behind big wooden doors) has now become a post-work hotspot and a destination for connoisseurs of juniper-based beverages. Indoors, there’s a slick lounge area that feels classy and cosy. Think plush curtains hanging from floor-to-ceiling windows, light jazz playing and low lighting. The staff are also slick, dressed sharply and well-versed in making their customers feel welcome. They can make recommendations and knock up a mean mixed drink. The bar itself is striking, with well-stocked shelves and bar staff you can chat to. We recommend pulling up a stool and seeing what they have to offer.

Library Bar
There’s no doubt about it, Library Bar is as classy as they come in Abu Dhabi. Sitting at the back of the super-cool Abu Dhabi EDITION right next to the award-winning OAK Room steakhouse (which has just reopened), it’s the picture of calm sophistication. Like the rest of the hotel, simplicity and charm are key here. The gentlemen’s club vibes extend to the smartly dressed staff and the list of classic mixed drinks. But things aren’t stuffy at all, the music is eclectic and there are some nice twists on the drinks menu courtesy of the bar’s talented mixology team.
