Actually photo-worthy coffees in Abu Dhabi (these aren’t your basic latte)

We’re spilling the beans on some of the city’s most unusual coffees

Looking for unusual coffees in Abu Dhabi? The classic snap of a latte on the feed has been done to death, which is why we’ve been on the hunt for actually photo-worthy coffees in the capital.

If you want something beyond your usual latte (skim milk, teaspoon of sugar) then you’ve come to the right place. We’ve got everything from cold brews that can only be described as Ombre-looking, to foam art that’s truly creative.

Ready to get your caffeine buzz on? Here are the best photo-worthy and unusual coffees in Abu Dhabi.

Blacksmith

Let’s be honest, “Nitro cold brew” just sounds cool. And if you’re into snapping photos of unusual coffees in Abu Dhabi, the Blacksmith version looks pretty cool too. Lovers of specialty coffee are going to love this spot on Saadiyat Island. The venue offers up a number of brews using various techniques including Aeropress, V60 and Chemex. If it’s good enough for NYU Abu Dhabi’s hipster student population, it’s good enough for us. Prepare for a caffeine buzz.

Café Artea

When it comes to foam art, Café Artea has more cool options than you can shake a stir-stick at. But if you want a coffee that’s almost too cute to drink, go for the latte foam cat. It genuinely doesn’t get more photo-worthy than that. There are also selfie-ccinos on the menu, where you can print a selfie directly on the foam. You heard us.
