Wondering where to eat in Al Qana? There are ten new restaurants coming to Al Qana soon plus five new ones open now. We’re ready to dig in.

Al Qana, the hotly anticipated waterfront dining and entertainment destination, has recently announced the opening of Al Qana Marina with new restaurants soon to follow.

This spot is promising to be one of the hottest foodie destinations in the capital, and you’d better hold on to your napkins, since more than 95 food and beverage concepts are set to open in the area – and we have 11 that are coming soon.

Alongside big international brand names, we’re also promised a selection of tasty home-grown concepts. Here’s where to eat in Al Qana.

Open now

Mado

Craving Turkish food and treats? Get over to Mado at Al Qana asap. The spot is famous in Turkey for a reason, serving ice cream you wouldn’t believe. Go for ice cream scooped on a piece of baklava, chocolate fondue, pistachio kunafah, trilece with a slice of ice cream and caramel and more. Even if you’re not much of a sweet tooth, Mado serves Turkish breakfast, burgers, mezze, salads, soups and other main courses. In short, you’ve got to check this out.

Oii

If you’re after Mediterranean dishes in Al Qana, get Oii on your to-try list. Guests can expect dishes such as Portuguese rabanadas and classic pasteis de nata, Italy’s paccheri pasta and beef cheek Milanese, Greek honey thyme saganaki, as well as Spanish tapas. We’ve got our eyes locked on the lobster picatta and paccheri pasta with truffle.

Otoro

Otoro restaurant in Abu Dhabi

Looking for a new modern Japanese spot? Otoro is open now with sizzling wagyu steaks, quirky sushi rolls, specialty rolls, and a sharing menu with a dynamic ambiance. The new Abu Dhabi restaurant features an outdoor terrace and open sushi bar. The interiors are an eclectic mix of minimalist designs and circular patterns.

Tazal

Tazal is all about global cuisine with an Arabic touch, so we hear. It serves Arabic breakfast, all day breakfast and an extensive dine-in menu of international favourites. We’ve got our eyes on the seafood paella with prawns, clams and octopus; Lava charred grill with marbled Wagyu beef; and the Tazal chicken katsu with Dukka spiced chicken breast, katsu sauce and Chinese lettuce.

The Bridge Hub

Looking for a brunch spot at Al Qana? This one is all about organic food in a brand new location. The new brunch is happening every Saturday from 11am to 4pm and is Dhs155 for a three course meal, Dhs209 for a four course meal and Dhs79 for a three course kids’ meal. The brunch is free for kids under 5.

Coming soon

Arokazi Steak Inn

Want to sink your teeth into a steak while visiting the new development? Of all the new restaurants coming to Al Qana, this one looks the meatiest; it’s a contemporary and rustic space that offers a specialized menu of steaks. Sound good?

Grand Beirut

Looking for Levantine fare? Grand Beirut is coming to Al Qana, and if the Galleria Al Maryah Island location is anything to go on, we’re expecting cherry blossoms hanging from the ceilings, trees growing from the floors and all the mezze you could ask for.

Joud Café

One of Abu Dhabi’s favourite cafés, Joud Café, is also joining the new restaurants coming to Al Qana with dishes from across the world. With cute ornaments, colourful cushions and strategically placed coffee-table books covering the light and airy cafe, it’s an easy choice for coffee fanatics looking to visit the new development.

Lukumades

If you’re looking for a quick snack at Al Qana, Lukumades might be your spot. The specialty is bite-sized Greek dough balls traditionally served warm with honey and cinnamon.

Pinky Fish

Puffs Coffee Bar

Space Café

Looking for your very own space in the city? Space Café is all about friendly ambiance and laid-back vibes. With outposts in Ras Al Khaimah and Khor Fakkan, it’s the ideal spot to make your home away from home.

Simitci Dunyasi

Traditional bakery products and breakfast menus are on offer for guests in the peaceful and tranquil atmosphere at Simitci Dunyasi.

TJAARZ

This café and co-working space hails from D3 in Dubai, offering specialty coffee and a space to share your thoughts.

Wing It

Wondering what you should have for lunch while strolling through Al Qana? Drop by Wing It and pick up a casual kebab, wrap, fries, or a drink. Another one of the more laid-back new restaurants coming to Al Qana.
