Arguably the top business hotel in the city, this plush 31-storey building is an ordinary city skyscraper in all respects, except for the revolving Al Fanar restaurant that slowly rotates at the top of the building. Suites in the Royal Tower are excellent, while the rest of the hotel’s rooms are more than adequate. The Meridien also has an impressive number of restaurants and bars onsite, although the Illusions nightclub is best avoided.
