There’s not many things better than packing your bags and heading off somewhere new to explore, see the sights, enjoy a new culture and expand your horizons.
Luckily in Abu Dhabi we’re able to travel to destinations near and far with an amazing network of flights departing from the UAE capital.
And now, an increase in flights between two of the world’s biggest cities is set to increase tourism in the UAE and Russia.
Etihad, which was recently voted the most punctual airline in the region, will now be launching twice-daily flights from the UAE capital to the Russian capital.
Flights will depart from Abu Dhabi at 2:40am and 2pm travelling to Moscow Domodedovo airport.
Available from October 27 to May 10 2020, the twice daily flights will also bring more Russian tourists to the UAE capital with the increased frequency of travel.
Flight duration between the two cities is approximately five and a half hours, so it’s a good time to visit Russia if you want to see sights including the Kremlin, Red Square and Lenin’s Mausoleum.

Etihad has also recently partnered with Air Arabia to launch a new budget airline, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi that will offer low-cost travel from the UAE capital to destinations around the region.
