Abu Dhabi attractions extend temporary closure until further notice

The latest on cultural sites in the capital

Abu Dhabi’s beaches, parks, restaurants, shopping malls, markets and cinemas have all been temporarily closed to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The UAE capital’s attractions have also been temporarily closed.

The closures were initially for period of two weeks until March 31, but The Department of Culture and Tourism has now announced that the closures have been extended ‘until further notice’.

Sites include Qasr Al Hosn, Louvre Abu Dhabi, Manarat Al Saadiyat, Al Jahili Fort, Al Ain Oasis and more.

Residents have been advised to self-isolate and stay home as a national disinfection programme is rolled out across the country.
