Earlier this month the rules for entering Abu Dhabi and testing requirements were updated.
Ensuring that all residents are aware of the rules, the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee has issued a reminder for anyone coming to the UAE capital.

As of September 5, those entering Abu Dhabi can do so by showing have a negative PCR swab test or DPI laser test taken within the last 48 hours.
If staying in Abu Dhabi for six days or longer, all visitors, UAE residents and Abu Dhabi residents are then required to have a PCR swab test on the sixth day in the emirate.
Those who fail to get a test after six days face fines as outlined by the Attorney General.
A fine of Dhs50,000 can be issued to those breaking quarantine rules and refusing to take a test as per protocols.
Volunteers in the COVID-19 vaccine trial are exempt from the regulations.
Last week UAE residents were also urged to be vigilant and follow all health and safety regulations in the emirate as COVID-19 cases rose.
