Created by local chefs, they come with step-by-step instruction and cost Dhs50 to Dhs60.
Good for feeding two people, the first batch includes mushroom and butternut squash risotto, spaghetti and meatballs, roasted salmon and root vegetables and Thai prawn curry.
“Since COVID-19, we’ve seen a huge increase in home-cooking as a result of lockdown constraints – more people are preparing fresh food in the comfort of their own kitchen,” said Paul Crawford, category manager at Spinneys.
“The pandemic has changed the way our customers plan their meals, so we hope that this new offering gives people the flexibility to shop conveniently and create healthy, delicious meals in a similar fashion to scratch cooking.”
