The cost of COVID-19 test have been reduced at a number of hospitals in Abu Dhabi.
Testing costs were previously reduced from Dhs370 to Dhs250.
Now, a number of health centres in the emirate have reduced costs further to Dhs180.
Operators including Mediclinic, VPS Healthcare and SEHA facilities have reduced the rate to help improve public health and make testing more accessible.
Tests are free for those suspected to have COVID-19, vulnerable people including those with chronic illnesses, UAE citizens and people over the age of 50.
Recently it was announced that the UAE topped global rankings for testing for COVID-19 in July and August.
A total of two million tests were carried out in August alone.
Regulations for residents visiting Abu Dhabi have been restated and for clear regulations have also been shared for all tourists planning to visit the city.
