The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority, Shurooq, has just announced multiple Sharjah hotel projects at Arabian Travel Market (ATM), and they look mega. The Najd Al Meqsar Village, Lux Al Bridi Resort, Lux Al Jabal Resort and Nomad by Mysk are all coming soon to Sharjah.
Sharjah is one of the most incredible places to stay in the UAE and soon there will be even more options for a staycation in this artsy emirate.

Always in the market for a new spot for a staycation in Sharjah, the new hotels project is obviously music to our ears. Here’s what we know so far:
The Najd Al Meqsar Village
Cushioned between the coast and the scenic mountains at Khorfakkan, the old-time village of Najd Al Meqsar will be converted into a luxurious heritage-style destination. It contains 13 houses within the 100-year-old village will be transformed into luxury hotel units.
Book and you will be staying in the laps of beautiful landscapes and the 300-year-old Meqsar Fortress, which you’ll also be able to stay the night in. The village offers a vantage point view of the historic settlement from a height of 220m and beside the fortress there’s a barbecue outdoor area and a mosque that have already been built. There will also be nine standalone villas with private pools (win), farm views, hiking trails, horseback riding routes and plans for other attractions.
Lux Al Jabal Resort
Looking for a staycation in Sharjah with a view? On the side of the Soueifa Mountain, overlooking the Arabian Sea, this (thought to be) five-star resort has an eco-premise. The hotel is set to be complete in 2023 and will have 45 eco-friendly one and two-bedroom units, a clifftop restaurant, gym, and kids’ play area.
There will be options for various price points, including a private royal suite with its own swimming pool for those who really wish to push the boat out.
Lux Al Bridi Resort
And if you’re after another eco-friendly staycation in Sharjah, this hotel is opening in Sharjah’s Al Dhaid. Right next to Sharjah Safari Park, the boutique hotel will home to 35 rooms. Choose a one, two or three-bedroom unit and you’ll be able to make the most of the on-site restaurant, gym and kids club.
Nomad by Mysk
This glamourous trailer resort is set to dot the beach of Al Hamriyah; sounds like the perfect way to spend a staycation in Sharjah. You’ll be able to rent one of 20 fully equipped trailers that are parked up on the beach at this new staycation spot.
Opening later this year, Nomad will offer a range of watersports and beach activities for guests. The Chedi Al Bait Hotel is also getting a boutique-style extension as The Serai Wing, Bait Khalid bin Ibrahim is added to the hotel. Shurooq will create 12 additional rooms from an authentic pearl merchant’s 19th-century family home which is in Heart of Sharjah district.
