As a previous winner of the Best Steakhouse at Time Out Abu Dhabi’s Restaurant Awards, Butcher & Still launched with a bang a few years ago and has kept the quality high ever since, and it’s part of the reason this spot has plenty of fans.
It’s not just about the food. The views are pretty special as well with a terrace boasting views of the waters of Al Maryah Island, if dining al fresco is your thing.
If you choose to eat outside, you’ll be able to soak up every inch of the brilliant décor of the bar and dining room. Even the bathrooms have had loads of attention to detail poured into them.
This steakhouse has a Prohibition-era Chicago theme and there are nods at every turn from walls to menu.
The retro vibes mean meals are heavy on the butter for authenticity and fire is central to the cooking. The sides are filling and anything but an after-thought and the collection of starters and mains are delicious, too (try the signature truffle bread and see what we mean).
