If you’re a skater in Abu Dhabi but are scared of being hit with the ‘how do you do, fellow kids?’ gif, fear no more as a skate park has come to your rescue.
No longer do you need to live in fear of being taunted by youngsters for being out on your board as the capital’s newest outdoor skate park has introduced adult-only hours.
Circuit X at Al Hudayriyat Island is no offering slots for BMXers or skaters over 13 between 8pm and 10pm on Sundays and Mondays.
It’s the only time that BMXs are allowed in the park, which has a range of terrains and ledges, handrails, quarter pipes and bridges. The design uses stone veneer and urban art.
The outdoor adventure hub has enough space for all levels of skaters to try it out and has experienced skaters on hand to offer private lessons.
Entry starts at Dhs40 and you can also rent equipment when you’re there.
