Located on a UNESCO world heritage site, the Pura Eco Retreat Jebel Hafit Desert Park sits on archeological remains that date back to the Neolithic period from 8,000 years ago, to the 5,000 Jebel Hafit Tombs excavated in 1959 at the request of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the United Arab Emirates.
