Much has been said about ADNOC’s move to start charging motorists Dhs10 to have an attendant fill up their tanks with fuel.
Some customers bemoaned yet another thing to fork out for, while others welcomed the encouragement to pump their own fuel.
But customers using the new premium service in Abu Dhabi have been pleasantly surprised by a new rewards scheme ADNOC is rolling out.
Customers can grab free coffee, snacks or a discount on an in-station car wash simply by presenting their fuel receipt to show they’ve used the premium service.
Given how difficult it is for some of us to muster the willpower not to pick up goodies such as chocolate and crisps when we’re paying for fuel, it’s a welcome bonus.
The rewards can be redeemed for up to 30 days after the fuel purchase and can even be combined with other receipts for larger discounts.
