The Dessert Museum is popping up for the first time in Abu Dhabi

This sweet space will be at Mother of the Nation Festival

Looking for a sweet way to spend your time this weekend?

The Dessert Museum is coming to Abu Dhabi for the first time at the Mother of the Nation Festival 2021. The interactive tasting adventure hails from Manila, and if you’re looking for something sweet, you will want to check it out.

The event includes attractions, Insta-worthy signage, art installations, musical performances, loads of food and rides for kids and big kids alike. There are six zones to explore, with sub-themes represented in the artwork.

See your favourite treats transform into an imaginative wonderland in this space on the Abu Dhabi Corniche. The Mother of the Nation (MOTN) Festival is running from Thursday December 9 to Saturday December 18. It’s open from 4pm to midnight on weeknights and 2pm to midnight on weekends.

The Dessert Museum in Manila includes eight dedicated rooms with themes such as banana beach with a banana split slide and a beach made of hundreds of banana sprinkles. It also features a giant gumball machine, a special fortune cookie and a wall of donuts.

We’re putting this spot on our travel bucket list, but if you’re hoping to get a taste of the sugary wonderland, Abu Dhabi is the place to be during MOTN.

Dubai’s High Joint burger spot is also heading to Abu Dhabi for MOTN, and you can catch loads concerts throughout the festival including Sherine.

Dec 9-19, 4pm-midnight (Sun-Thu), 2pm-midnight (Fri-Sat). Abu Dhabi Corniche www.motn.ae.
