Drop Coffee opening soon at Yas Bay Waterfront

The café is coming to the capital, and launching its first-ever food menu

Looking to get caffeinated at Yas Bay Waterfront? Drop Coffee is opening its first branch in Abu Dhabi on Monday March 7.

Hailing from Dubai, the coffee connoisseurs at Drop are also launching their first-ever food menu with breakfast items, mains and all-day dining items.

Head to the capital’s first Drop from 8am to 11pm from Monday to Friday, or from 8am to 2am on Saturday and Sunday for a coffee or grab a bite from a menu designed in collaboration with the award-winning Chef Reif Othman: the man behind Reif Kushiyaki, Tero by Reif and Reif at Time Out Market Dubai.

In celebration of the café’s launch week, from Monday March 7 to Sunday March 13, you’ll get a free coffee when you order something from the food menu. From March 11 to Sunday March 13 the coffee shop will have a live DJ spinning the decks.

Hungry? You’ll find a wide range of dishes to try. Breakfast foods include a pancake sandwich with fried eggs, crispy cauliflower and kale salad, avocado mash with feta cheese and the signature Drop breakfast with eggs, baked beans, beef bacon, grilled chicken sausage and sourdough bread.

Mains include chicken schnitzel with avocado salad, the Drop burger, grilled tiger prawns, grilled steak with fried eggs and spaghetti with a variety of sauces. Prices range from Dhs55 to Dhs155 for bigger plates.

Drop Coffee first landed in Dubai in 2017 and has since grown to a team of baristas from across the globe. Drop beans are imported daily and the coffee is made with nine different brewing techniques.

There’s loads going on lately at Yas Bay Waterfront, including weekly live music and entertainment on the weekends. Head there from Friday to Sunday from 5.30pm onwards and you’ll find good vibes from one corner of the boardwalk to the other.
