See more than 800 Frida Kahlo artworks in this epic virtual exhibition

The Mexican legend has never been more popular

Since you can’t go traipsing around your favourite museums right now in the UAE, here’s an incredible online art exhibition dedicated to everyone’s favourite monobrowed modern art master: Frida Kahlo.

For this awesome exhibition, Google Arts and Culture have brought together 33 museums and art centres from around the world to share their Kahlo works and archives, and named the whole exhibition ‘Faces of Frida’.

The various art establishments have contributed 800 works by the Mexican artist, but also lots of biographical elements (personal objects, letters), journal extracts and historical details.

You’ll be able to learn all about Frida’s early life, her love of nature, the hidden stories behind her paintings and all the mythical backstories to her works.

The platform is definitely worth checking out, taking you on a journey through the real and surreal, her heritage and all the painful, beautiful themes of Frida Kahlo’s art.

Seriously, it’s good. You can check out Faces of Frida right now by heading by clicking here.

Those looking for more artsy galleries to wander through virtually, including 360-degree exhibitions and more, check them all out right here.
