Looking to tuck into a serious burger? Don’t mind a messy bite? Pickl is serving up two new menu items: the Pickl Sloppy Owen burger and Sloppy Ellen fries and they look mega.
If you’re a long term fan of the award-winning burger restaurant, you might recall a blast from the past: the “Owen Wilson is pure fuego” burger, which was a popular choice in early 2021. This vintage burger is returning to the menu as the Pickl Sloppy Owen burger alongside the first-ever sloppy Ellen.

Pickl has been crowned Time Out Dubai Restaurant Award winner of the best burger in Dubai and it’s not hard to see why. Fresh ingredients, homemade flavours, homemade pickles and casual vibes: it would be hard not to love this spot.
Pickl recently opened at two locations in Abu Dhabi: WTC Mall and Mamsha Al Saadiyat, where you can pick up the Sloppy Owen Burger for Dhs55 and Sloppy Ellen fries for Dhs35. They are only available at dine-in locations and will be available for a limited time, so be sure to get out there to try them.
The Sloppy Owen burger is inspired by the classic American Sloppy Joe. It’s stacked with a smashed patty, topped with cheese, chili con carne, chive sour cream, Nashville spice and a pickled chili on top. You’ll also get a pot of chili con carne on the side. The Sloppy Ellen fries include Pickl’s classic skinny fries with chili, cheese, chive sour cream, Nashville spice and pickled chili.
