Running until Sunday September 4, Dubai’s shops and malls will be hosting a number of sales, raffles and family-friendly events. The city-wide event sees reduced prices in malls, restaurants and hotels for ten weeks.

Family-favourite characters Modesh and Dana are back again with their pop-up Modesh World at Dubai World Trade Centre from Monday July 11 to Sunday August 28. One of the region’s largest indoor events, the pop-up includes rides, games, and live shows.

There will also be the DSS 2022 Summer Restaurant Week, where eateries across the city will offer special prices and set menus for foodies to dig into.

According to the DSS website, there will also be live music, stand-up comedy and stage shows by local talent and ‘global stars’. Expanding to cultural activations, there are also set to be art fairs and exhibitions, along with ‘unique’ fitness classes that will be held in the city’s most picturesque spots.

Ahmad Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festival and Retail Establishment said this year’s programme has been “designed to showcase the very best that Dubai has to offer across our malls and entertainment experiences, restaurants, hotels and more.”

The full schedule is yet to be confirmed, but it will be announced on the DSS website in the coming weeks.
