Etihad resumes flights between Abu Dhabi and Bahrain

The first one leaves the UAE capital on June 19

Good news for people who need to travel between Abu Dhabi and Bahrain, Etihad Aiways is about to restart flights between the two destinations.

From June 19, the UAE’s national carrier will connect the capital with Bahrain International Airport in Manama.

Flights have been curtailed and airspace closed for months due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Many people have been stranded outside of their home countries as a result, though the UAE has revealed plans to step up its own efforts to bring more than 200,000 residents.

However, the airline is now adding more and more flights to its schedule, however there are strict entry policies in place in most destinations and Abu Dhabi airport has issued guidelines for anyone passing through it.

Anyone who wants to book a flight between the two places need to visit the Etihad website here. They’ll also find entry regulations for the end destination.

Flights departing Abu Dhabi will do so on June 19, 21, 26 and 28 at 1.30am. The flight arrives at Bahrain at 1.45am.

Return flights operate the same days, departing Bahrain at 3.15am and landing in Abu Dhabi at 5.25am.

You can also book through the airline’s app and by calling +971 600 555 666 (UAE), or through a local or online travel agency.
