The UAE Government has released a new set of guidelines for residents travelling out of the UAE.
According to the new guidelines UAE residents currently in the country do not need to complete re-entry forms and gain approval from the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA).

Overseas travel is permitted for UAE residents to low risk countries, however travel to medium risk countries will only be permitted for medical treatment, professional work, studies and diplomatic missions.
Travel to high risk countries is not permitted.
According to the newly issued guidelines, before leaving the UAE, travellers must sign a Twajudi form, be sure they meet all requirements in the UAE and the country they visit.
This includes undertaking a pre-travel check-up, getting international health insurance and following self-quarantine guidelines.
Residents must also register through the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship website to travel outside the UAE, while people over 70 will not be permitted to travel.
Travellers also need to follow COVID-19 safety guidelines and self-monitor symptoms.
Upon returning to the UAE, travellers must follow local guidelines, test procedures and download and activate the Al Hosn App.
