Five Abu Dhabi brunches to try out this weekend

Brunch is back, which means weekends are starting to resemble the ones we’ve known and loved for some time.

As restrictions are being lifted in the emirate, restaurants and bars across the city are back open to the public.

Heading out this weekend and want to enjoy a brunch deal?

Here are five brunches to check out this weekend in Abu Dhabi.

Buddha-Bar Beach

Time Out Abu Dhabi award-winning venue Buddha-Bar Beach has launching two Friday brunches. The first is from 1pm to 4pm and the evening brunch starts at 7pm and reservations are a must. Packages are Dhs325 for soft drinks, Dhs450 for house beverages and Dhs525 for premium beverages. Dishes include salads, sushi, nigiri and hot starters, before moving on to items from the robata, and main course options including Chilean Sea bass, beef tenderlon and chicken Kung Pao. Desserts include apple tart tatin, eclairs and crepe soufflé.

Easy Tiger

Easy Tiger has launched a new brunch and it costs Dhs199 per person. Head along to the venue on a Friday from noon to 3pm and you can enjoy unlimited house drinks, unlimited starters and your choice of main course and dessert. Unlimited drinks and food plus change from Dhs200? That’s as good value as brunch as we’ve heard of. We’ll see you by the pool table.

Giornotte

This is a real cracker, at The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal from 1pm to 4pm You can get stuck into freshly prepared dishes, many of which are made to order by the on-site chefs. The brunch also features a range of vegan options for those following a plant-based diet. Packages start from Dhs299 for soft beverages, Dhs399 for house beverages and Dhs599 for bubbly. So if you’re brunching this weekend, Giornotte could be the place to go.

Hidden Bar

Hidden Bar has announced a new weekend food and drinks deal every Friday and Saturday and while they aren’t calling is a brunch, it does include a set menu of food and unlimited drinks for a three-hour period. Guests will start off with a host of small plates including artisanal cheese tart, cold cuts, sushi and sashimi, Thai salad, quinoa and more. For the main you’ll get a platter of chef specialities including smoked meat, peri peri chicken, home-rubbed ribs, grilled vegetables and roast potatoes. Ending on a sweet note you can enjoy a surprise dessert created by the chef. Okay, we admit it, we’re intrigued by the mystery dessert.

Saadiyat Beach Club

We can’t deny it, we’re very excited that Abu Dhabi’s brunches are back. One of the most impressive destinations every Friday afternoon is Saadiyat Beach Club, so we’re delighted to hear its brunch is back. Now, it will be served to the table between 1pm and 4pm every week ,and offers a set menu including starters, sushi, main courses and desserts. Packages are Dhs299 for soft drinks, Dhs399 for bubbly and Dhs499 for French bubbly. All bookings must be made in advance.
