Guggenheim Abu Dhabi launches virtual art programme

The Saadiyat Island museum introduces digital platform

We’re so excited to see all the developments on Saadiyat Island.

A lot of stunning cultural attractions are coming including Zayed National Museum and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, that will take their place in the cultural district next to Louvre Abu Dhabi.

While we have to wait a while before we can explore the new museums, there’s plenty to keep us going in the meantime.

Guggenheim Abu Dhabi has launched a virtual programme, running until August 18, that will introduce the public to local artists through a series of studio visits and interviews.

In the Studio is giving artists the platform to showcase their work and start conversations about culture and the arts.

Launched with the Departure of Culture and Tourism, the programme aims to forge a deeper understanding of arts and culture in the people of the UAE.

Artists featured in the programme include Maitha Abdalla Al Lamki, Hashel Al Lamki, Rand Abdul Jabbar and Nasser Al Zayani.
