Last year it was announced that the world’s largest indoor snow park would be opening in Abu Dhabi.
The 125,000 sq ft attraction, named Snow Abu Dhabi, is set to be home to 13 different rides and attractions, with rides and attractions spread across different zones at Reem Mall on Reem Island.
So what can we expect when the park opens its doors?
At the Blizzard’s Bazaar you’ll be able to shop at an assortment of shops selling cold weather clothing, hats, gift and souvenirs.
The Snowflake Garden activity play area invites to simply play in the snow or take part in activities including an ice labyrinth, snowman building and other games.
A Crystal Carousel will also be found showing all the animals of the magical winter forest.
Finally, you will be able to climb up the Flurries’ Mountain and visit the centrepeice of the attraction, The Enchanted Tree, and look down on the park from a height.
It all sounds like fun to us and we’re sure those of you that have never seen snow before will be excited to experience it.
For those of us who have been freezing cold, wet and getting pelted by snowballs, we’re still excited but we’ll be watching our backs.
Reem Mall is set to open late this year but may be delayed due to the spread of COVID-19.
