Once finished, Etihad Arena will host events for local and international acts, entertainers and events.

A sneak peak was shared in September showing the progress of the construction at Yas Bay, Yas Island.

After a successful return to Abu Dhabi for Fight Island, UFC President Dana White toured the new arena which Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi, CEO of Miral, named as the “new home” of the UFC in Abu Dhabi.

The Etihad Arena, which will be operated by Flash Entertainment, can host events with a capacity from 200 people to 18,000.
Yas Bay, a $1.1bn (approximately Dhs4bn) development, will also be home to The Waterfront with two hotels, a beach club, a boardwalk pier as well as cafes and retail units.
A new Hilton hotel will be opening at the site as well as the Residences at Yas Bay and a new home for Abu Dhabi’s media hub twofour54.
