If you’ve had a fair few nights out in Dubai, you’ve likely come across Lock, Stock & Barrel, better known as LSB to the regulars. And now LSB has landed in Abu Dhabi at the ever-popular Yas Bay Waterfront.
Lock, Stock & Barrel Abu Dhabi is situated on the end of the promenade at Yas Bay, with a massive terrace that seems to be endlessly popular on cooler evenings. During the summer the terrace closes, funneling everyone into a warehouse-like bar with loads of space, a massive sports screen and plenty of good vibes inside.
The music at this massive bar is mainly alt-rock and the dress code is casual, so there’s no need to whip out your stilettos or dress shoes (and your feet will thank you after the long walk down the promenade).
Once you arrive, grab a stool and get ready to peruse a hefty menu of drinks. You can go for hops, signature mixed drinks, classic mixed drinks, house drinks and grapes. There are pool tables too, but at Dhs100 for an hour of play it’s certainly not the most accessible bar sports offering in the city.
LSB’s food menu is pretty extensive too, serving American favourites such as burgers and sandos, ribs, lasagne and fried chicken. But if you’re just here for a bite with drinks, you might be slightly disappointed by the bar snacks.
The guacamole and chips features an exceptionally meagre dollop of guac for the Dhs50 price tag, and the Dhs40 mac’n’cheese balls do little to save the snacking sesh. Perhaps another jaunt around the menu would yield better results. The food isn’t bad, but Abu Dhabi certainly offers better.
Snacks aside, LSB’s reputation precedes it, so if you’re looking for lively scenes in a casual setting, it’s a solid choice.
