3 cool breakfast spots to try this weekend in Abu Dhabi

Try these Time Out-recommended venues

Everyone says breakfast is the most important meal of the day. And we agree, as who doesn’t love eggs, bacon and stacks of pancakes (look away those on a January diet).

And coffee, please, and make it fast because we always could do with another cup.

Looking to get out and about this weekend and enjoy a super-tasty breakfast? We hear you.

Try these Time Out-recommended venues for a great breakfast this weekend.

Fa’e Café

Eating breakfast out and about in Abu Dhabi is one of our favourite things to do, so give us a free morning and we’re all in, seeking out the best breakfasts in town. Plus, when a new café opens we’re all ears. Climb the stairs at the entrance of the building and you’ll find Fa’e Café, a laid-back venue doused in natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows, serving a range of freshly-made sweet treats and freshly-brewed coffee.

Sanderson’s

People don’t just go to restaurants for the food anymore. No, the venue has to be knockout, the dishes have to be Instagrammable, the overall vibe has to be on point. If you’re the kind of person that loves visting somewhere for the overall package, then Sanderson’s may just be the place for you. There’s more than enough to suit every taste – from pancakes and waffles to eggs Benedict and even a baba ghanoush pizza. Intrigued?

tashas

According to the theory of relativity by Albert Einstein, the speed of light is the only true constant but we’d argue that the quality on offer at tashas deserves the same acclaim. The café/restaurant in Al Bateen has been a smash hit since it first opened and every weekend, if you’re heading along, you’ll be hard pushed to find a seat without having to wait for one to become available. There are many places to head out for breakfast in Abu Dhabi, but tashas is undoubtedly one of the main places to be for your coffee and eggs.
