It’s always exciting when a new venue opens in the city.
Is the coffee good? Are the views Instagram worthy? Is the avocado toast more than just smashed avocado on toast?
Al Bateen is already known to be one of the best places in the city to grab a bite, a coffee or go for a stroll.
When looking for a bite to eat you can choose from the likes of tashas, Number Fifty Seven Boutique Café, Ozo, Napo, Brunch and Cake and more.
Now, there’s another new player in town ready to serve up brilliant bakes and breakfasts.
Montauk Kitchen is set to open in Al Bateen by the end of February.
The Hamptons-inspired venue, steeped in Long Island vibes, is aiming to become a go-to breakfast destination once open and caters to vegetarians and vegans as well as serving gluten free, organic healthy foods.
On the menu you’ll find the likes of Turkish eggs, avocado and beetroot toasties, brioche French toast, Canadian lobster, watermelon and feta salad as well as a range of cakes and bakes.
Spread across three floors, the stylish venue will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 8am to 11pm daily once it opens its fdoors by the end of the month.
