Weekly flights to Egypt now flying out of Al Ain International Airport

Al Ain International Airport is now chartering two weekly flights to and from the Egyptian capital of Cairo.

The Nile Air-operated flight path touched down for the first time in the Abu Dhabi  Airports-owned airport this week.

Flights will depart Cairo International Airport at 3.40pm local time every Monday and Friday, with services landing in Al Ain at 9.15pm UAE time.

Return flights from Al Ain International will run on Mondays and Fridays, and will leave at 22.15pm local time, touching down on Egyptian soil at 12.05am. Each flight should take no more than four hours.

Francois Bourienne, chief commercial officer at Abu Dhabi Airports, said: “We are pleased to welcome two new weekly flights between Al Ain and Cairo, which strengthens our connectivity with the Egyptian capital and facilitates the travel journey of passengers between the UAE and Egypt.

“The introduction of the new flights comes as part of the expansion of Al Ain International Airport and the introduction of new routes, to increase our airlines network and offer our passengers the best travel experience.”
