Bentley Kitchen

A French bistro with an old-fashioned feel

Give your eyes a second to adjust: You don’t want to miss out on what’s happening at Bentley Kitchen because you have plenty of options. This relaxed bistro is located within The Galleria Al Maryah Island, and diners are whisked from the stark mall lighting into a mood-lit spot that makes it easy to lose track of time.

Watch out, because Bentley Kitchen is open daily from noon to midnight, making it easy to while away the hours as you graze through the well-priced food menu and range of drinks.

Bentley Kitchen is, yes, a kitchen (an open one is perched on the opposite side of the bar) along with a bar and bistro.

“Whatever the occasion” is the multipurpose eatery’s tagline, and that is further enhanced by its varied European fusion cuisine combined with daily happy hours.

Signatures include the Bentley burger as well as pies, with the latter specials of the day being printed on a chalkboard in the middle of the dining space. Apple pie and chocolate fondant are hero desserts.

Despite the European pitch, the menu can at times feel more American (it does have a signature burger after all), but no one will be hung up on labels when they sink their teeth into the mammoth, cooked-how-you-like burger. Food is served on hefty wooden slabs with substantial portions to match, but the cooking still has the refinement of its French roots.

With so many places trying to be everything to everyone and multi-hyphenates galore, it can be easy to get lost in the noise. Bentley Kitchen doesn’t, even with neighbours like LPM, Zuma and COYA. It’s a casual, crowd favourite that delivers.

If you’re in The Galleria and looking for a spot that doesn’t break the bank (especially post-shop), take a seat at Bentley Kitchen and enjoy being off the clock.
