Cantina Mariachi

The World Trade Centre Mall is a fantastic place to have lunch and then catch a film. Cantina Mariachi is particularly well-suited to this, located just across from the cinema. The venue is decked out in everything that screams ‘Mexican’, from glittering sombreros to painted cacti. The decor is rather cheesy, but so is the food, so we guess there is method to the visual madness. The menu offers Mexican standards, such as nachos, tacos, quesadillas, and a few unusual sounding salads. The food is mostly good and the service is excellent. Cantina Mexicana is not authentic, but the price is decent and the menu has a few surprises. It’s a good place for quick eat pre or post-movie.
