From Time Out Abu Dhabi Eating Out 2010
Spanish food is a rare commodity in Abu Dhabi, so this little tapas bar, with its pleasant sunset views of the Corniche, is a welcome option. Helpful and knowledgeable staff are on hand to welcome you, though don’t expect lightning service; things are extremely laidback, with time for a siesta allowed between each course. It’s the ideal spot to while away any post-work boredom, suitably detached from the rest of the city both in location and its theme-pub ambience. If you gaze at the matador posters for long enough, you can almost imagine yourself away from the UAE.
The menu is small but adequate: all you might expect from a tapas board is here, though you’d be wise not to expect tapas prices. The highlight, of course, is the selection of paellas, which should come with a warning and a doggy bag to transport the leftovers home in. They also offer a decent selection of ‘not-so-Spanish’ dishes, though you’d be a fool to drop in at Bravo and plump for a beef burger.
