Flavours is a buffet restaurant that manages to be a cut above most of its competition. A good selection of theme nights, in particular the seafood buffet, make it worth the cab fare, with some large lobsters, shrimp and succulent oysters proving ample temptation. The selection is usually good and the standard high. There is a grill/wok station with a decent selection of lamb chops, beef, and several types of seafood. The sushi chef also prepares food to order, which means you avoid the often terminal problem with all buffets: food sitting for hours and losing all discernable taste. Of course, there is an a la carte menu, but as everything is available on the buffet, why bother? That is, except for one thing: steak. The Black Angus fillet steak is surprisingly good. It may be a strange place to come for a wonderful steak, but there you go.
