It’s easy to categorise bars in Abu Dhabi. There are some you visit with friends for an after-work beverage and end up staying all night; others you take your parents to show off the beautiful city you are lucky enough to live in; and more still that are made for date night. Beach House is all three, and much, much more.
Housed at the Park Hyatt, you can’t fail to be impressed by the setting near the hotel’s show-stopping pool and spectacular beach. It might be heating up, but take a spot in the shade on the terrace and you’ll be rewarded by the sounds of the waves lapping against the shore. This is easily one of the best spots in the city to watch the sunset, and even folks who have lived here for decades will struggle to resist snapping a photo or two. But enough about the setting – onto the bar itself.
The grape menu is extensive, and with glasses starting at Dhs55, we think it’s worth every dirham. There’s no happy hour, but with views like this, we’re left with a smile on our faces even after the sun goes down – and we imagine you’ll feel the same.
You’ll barely be able to tear yourselves away at the end of the night, and will already be planning a return.
