With some of Abu Dhabi’s bars and restaurants, you can get a pretty good idea of what they’ll be like just by their name.
Zsa Zsa, the trendy mixed drinks venue in the Four Seasons Abu Dhabi, is certainly one of them.
Named after (you guessed it), Hollywood icon Zsa Zsa Gabor, it’s one of the capital’s more glamorous little hideaways. It’s the kind of place where you almost expect James Bond himself to sit down at the bar and order a drink, shaken not stirred, flanked by a beautiful woman on each arm.
The monochrome décor is beautiful, the food and beverages on offer are amazing and the service is excellent.
Expect a wide range of signature drinks with master mixologists behind to help you find your new favourite. The bar bites are great, too, with the likes of wagyu sliders and truffle fries ensuring you won’t go hungry.
Step outside onto the balcony and you can take in the stunning views of downtown Abu Dhabi on show.
Zsa Zsa is well suited to clinching business deals, impressing a date or sampling a taste of Abu Dhabi’s high life. So it’s a shame that every time we go in, it’s pretty much devoid of customers. We don’t understand it.
Granted, it’s not the kind of place you go if you’re out for a party and want to dance, and the prices are a little
on the steep side.
But for capital residents who just want to unwind with a few drinks in a plush bar, with good music and great friends, Zsa Zsa really is the ideal spot.
Maybe it’s time this venue started shouting from the rooftops…
