What’s happening at Abu Dhabi’s Yas Bay

The Yas Island development is on track

There’s always something going on at Yas Island.

From brunches to concerts to golf and motorsports, it’s the capital’s centre of entertainment.

Well, get ready for even more great stuff as the Yas Bay project moves forward.

By the end of the year, the first stages of the Dhs12 billion new area should be completed – including a Hilton hotel and 18,000-person indoor arena.

The latest news from Miral, the developer of Yas Island, is that two land sales with Siadah International Real Estate Development are in place to develop two residential projects.

Chawqui Derradji, CEO at Siadah, says: “We are delighted to invest in Yas Bay and to bring our projects to such an exciting destination. As the two plots become bustling communities, we aim to mirror Miral’s vision of offering unique and immersive experiences by developing residential units with direct views of Yas Bay waterfront.”

Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi, CEO of Miral says: “With the recent changes in the law issued by the Abu Dhabi government, allowing foreigners to acquire freehold lands and develop properties in designated zones, Yas Island’s Yas Bay is now firmly on the global map as a real estate investment destination.”

As well as the outer structure of the Hilton, the first phase of road infrastructure and landscaping of the public parks and promenade have also been completed.
