You can now get free first aid training in Abu Dhabi

Find out how to make a difference and help save lives

It’s hard to know how you will react in an emergency.

Obviously, none of us would ever want to find ourselves in a situation where out actions can be the difference between life and death, but it doesn’t hurt to be prepared.

Helping residents to learn and potentially save lives, free first aid training is being offered to people living in Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi Police’s Ambulance Volunteer programme is looking to recruit residents to help improve public safety and improve response time of ambulance crews in the city.

Sessions, delivered English and Arabic, will teacg people the skills required to help people in need while waiting for ambulance crews to arrive, and how to respond to emergency calls.

Those looking to sign-up for the free programme need to be over the age of 18, physically fit and and residents in the capital.

We think it’s a brilliant idea and are proud of everyone who takes their time to help others in our city.
