Looking to engage with some serious culture? Culture Summit Abu Dhabi 2022 is officially happening in October after being postponed earlier this year.
Organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, Culture Summit Abu Dhabi 2022 will bring cultural leaders, artists and performers together for a thought-provoking forum of knowledge exchange, debates and policy development.
The event is taking place at Manarat Al Saadiyat from Monday October 23 to Wednesday October 25. Tickets aren’t available at the moment, but you can register your interest on the Culture Summit website.

There will be curated panel discussions, artist talks and case studies to look forward to under one theme: A Living Culture. You can expect to hear from former presidential leaders, renowned artists and industry experts.
Keynote speakers include world-renowned architect Frank Gehry (architect of the Guggenheim Museum and Dancing House in Prague) and Amin Taha, architect of the controversial Clerkenwell Close building.
Sessions will cover a range of topics, from “Afghanistan through a culture lens” to “Hollywood and the diversity of cultural expression.” You’ll also hear from the UAE Minister of Culture and Youth, Her Excellency Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi; former President of Croatia, Ivo Josipović; and Ernesto Ottone, assistant director general for culture at UNESCO.
The creative conversations segment at Culture Summit Abu Dhabi 2022 will be led by veteran curator and broadcaster, Tim Marlow, director of the Design Museum in London and Dr. Jos Boys, co-founder of The DisOrdinary Architecture Project.
