If you think you live in one of the best cities in the world, you’re right. The Economist Intelligence Unit’s global survey has named Abu Dhabi the most liveable city in MENA, closely followed by Dubai.
This is the fifth year in a row that Abu Dhabi and Dubai have been crowned as the most liveable cities and with so many incredible things to do, gorgeous architecture and warm, sunny vibes we’re not at all surprised.

The survey ranks 173 cities on stability, culture, environment, education, infrastructure and healthcare. Abu Dhabi is ranked 77th, most liveable city in Mena, followed by Dubai in 79th place.
Looking for more reasons to be proud of your city? Abu Dhabi came out number 30 on Time Out‘s global list of the best cities in the world 2021. The Time Out Index is a global poll that asks 27,000 city dwellers for their thoughts about their city.
According to Bounce’s capital cities index, Abu Dhabi is also the second best destination for a holiday. Bounce analysed 69 cities from around the world to see how they ranked for holidaymakers in terms of number of attractions and restaurants, hotel and transport costs, and the weather.
It’s no surprise then that Abu Dhabi came out second given our warm, sunny days, cultural attractions and countless foodie experiences.
