Avocado & Eggs at Market at EDITION

Big up to the Abu Dhabi EDITION for giving the people what they really want – delish avo on toast. The restaurant’s breakfast staple is served with poached eggs, crushed avocado, flax and sesame seeds and cashew on top of healthy grilled rye toast. It doesn’t get much better than that. There’s a reason the avo toast is a signature at this go-to Abu Dhabi brekkie spot.

Pulled Beef & Avocado Rose Benny at Brunch & Cake

As with every dish at Abu Dhabi’s most gorgeous venue, this is one that was designed to be photographed. One for those who like a bit of meat in the morning, the sliced avocado comes lovingly shaped like a rose, served on an English muffin with two organic poached eggs, slow-cooked tender beef with chimichurri hollandaise. Instagram in a nutshell. And it leaves your taste buds happy, too.

Avocado toast at No.FiftySeven

A best-selling brunch dish at this supper-club-turned-trendy-café in Al Bateen, the smashed avocado at No.FiftySeven comes simply served on ciabatta bread with chili. We highly recommend adding a bunch of delicious extras including poached eggs, cherry tomatoes and grilled halloumi. It would be rude not to.

Avo and eggs on rye bread at Sanderson’s

When it comes to avocado, Sanderson’s knows it avo. Not only does the Abu Dhabi breakfast favourite put avocado on a sweet potato breakfast pizza, you’ll also find a huge array of avocado on toast dishes that change regularly, including tahini avocado toast with boiled eggs, smashed avo and mango on beetroot ciabatta, and a healthy benny with sweet potato, mushroom, bacon and kale. Our favourite, though, has to be the simple-yet-effective avocado and eggs on rye bread, served sliced or smashed with sweet peas, spinach, feta, super seeds dukkah, eggs and balsamic cream. That’s health on a plate.
